He returned to the coast to take care of her after she had another medical issue. He asked Nora if she'd be willing to move or have a long-distance relationship, but she said no. It was an amicable and mature parting, though still sad for both of them.

I loved The Book of Candlelight! This series is so interesting - I loved everything about this book. Though I was a little disappointed about Pat & Lou :) . I'd assumed from the beginning that they were a couple, and when Nora brought up the question I realized that we didn't really know. I'm curious - why did you choose to make them best friends rather than partners?

I have loved reading since i was 3 and i found your Secret, Book and scone society books recently and am already on book 3 I love them. I love the imagery that you convey in the books. I can see Miracle springs in my mind. I relate to each character and thoroughly enjoy these books and wanted to thank you for them. Please keep writing about them?
