Hi Gracie, Yes, I do travel for book signings. I just got home from CozyCon East in NJ. I will be in VA for the Virginia Festival of the Book later in March, then my next event is CozyCon South in Powder Springs, GA in May.
If you ever want to order signed copies of any of my books, you can contact Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill, order any titles that you'd like, and I'll pop by the store and sign them. Then they will mail the signed copies directly to you. I hope that works for you! xxEA

I hear you about Hester. She is going to have a tough time in Book 8, but she will be okay. I'm not sure if she's going to reunite with Jasper Andrews or find a new love. I kind of feel my way through relationships while I'm writing. I remember when I felt like Jed wasn't really the right guy for Nora and I like her much better with McCabe. So, while I work on Book 9, I'll wait until Hester speaks to me and tells me what she wants.

I don't have an exact date yet, but it should be out Fall 2025. It's called The Tattered Cover. I expect it a listing to appear on retail sites within the next two months.
I wish Nora had the funds to buy Winter House as well. That place needs a happy ending. Many readers wish the same thing, so it may have to return in a future book. I'm about to start #9 as we speak (write - you know what I mean ;) )

For the time being, Murder in the Book Lovers' Loft is the last in the series. I'm not closing the door on the series (there's always a chance of a spinoff), but in the immediate future, I'll be working on the next Secret, Book, and Scone Society novel as well as a project that has been sitting on my back burner for quite some time. I am grateful to you and to the many readers who've come to love Jane and the rest of the Storyton Hall characters.

I visited a resort in Virginia with my family and instantly fell in love with the place. I pictured it with more books and reading rooms, of course, but it was so peaceful and lovely that I wanted to set a series there. Happily, no. I am working on Book 7 right now, and it will be published in 2024 (I don't have a date yet).
At this point, my contract goes to Book 9, so there will be at least 3 more in the series, and as long as I have ideas for future books, I'll keep writing them. :)

Yes. The series is complete. However, Olivia and some of the Oyster Bay characters appear in The Book Retreat series.

Such a great question! I thought it would be a refreshing change to keep the drama out of her relationship and channel it into the mystery. I believe many women recognize themselves in Jane in that she wears so many hats. So many of us want to be great parents, partners, and friends while also succeeding in our careers. It's not easy, and Jane's everyday challenges are relatable. Chasing killers? Nto so much! LOL.
