My 12 year old daughter wants to read the book. Is it suitable for someone in the 7th grade? Or, are there sections too mature for a young girl? Thanks in advance for what you can share.

You could give your child the pages…moreI first read this book when I was 10. I mildly enjoyed, but, besides that, the explicit scenes were very detailed. You could give your child the pages to skip (in my edition the pages I remembered as explicit were 129 - 132). But otherwise, it is very detailed, and I would not recommend it to a child that young.(less)
