Wow. I’m super disappointed with this book. Too many story lines, I wanted something more from Rebecca. Xavier can only reveal the affair. A lot of build up and then boom over.

I don’t understand why the author made the nod to Whitney being pregnant at the end, that was kind of unnecessary.
Whitney also ran upstairs and crossed out what he wrote on the wall after seeing that he fell which I think alludes to her being a true psychopath. She put protecting herself over making sure her son was okay.

It was implied that Whitney was pregnant. Ben needed his masculinity confirmed.
We don't know what Xavier will say.
This was my least favorite ending of a book ever.

Yes, it was shocking that Xavier could talk at the end, but unless he lies to punish his mother, he can only reveal that he saw Whitney & Ben having sex on the patio. The truth is he leaned too far out the window looking for them & fell, it was an accident after all...Whitney did not push him & he did not jump. However, he could say anything.
