I am very happy to hear you enjoy Rutledge. I completed the manuscript for the next Rutledge in March. Right now it is going through intense review to make certain the work lives up to the standards Caroline and I set over the many years.. I am hoping to have it sent for publication this month.

No question, but I did want to let you know how much I've enjoyed the Ian Rutledge books. It is a truly wonderful series, and it has awakened an interest in WWI for me. Thanks to both you and your mother for creating such a lovely character and sharing him with us. ?

Why does Rutledge not use fingerprints as evidence? I know the Met was using them but this doesn’t happen. Is it because Rutledge doesn’t have a DS for his out of London investigations? Thanks, Nona G.
