How do you deal with writer’s block?

Deanndra Hall Frankly, I can't answer that because I've never had writer's block. If I ever do, I don't know what I'll do. Right now, I've got about 15 books on the back burner and I really, really don't know when I'll even get to them. So writer's block is a foreign concept for me. But if I had to guess, I'd say start by doing character dossiers and and outline of a story and see where it goes. You know, do the mechanical work until you can get the car up and running.
