Frankly, I can't answer that because I've never had writer's block. If I ever do, I don't know what I'll do. Right now, I've got about 15 books on the back burner and I really, really don't know when I'll even get to them. So writer's block is a foreign concept for me. But if I had to guess, I'd say start by doing character dossiers and and outline of a story and see where it goes. You know, do the mechanical work until you can get the car up and running.

I can work in my jammies! And I have all of these "friends" with me all the time. They carry on conversations in the car when I'm alone - I know other drivers must think I'm nuts (and they'd be right). I love having them with me all the time.

Write. One national writers' organization is having to restructure their membership requirements. The IRS has been all over them because, as a writers' organization, only about ten percent of their membership has ever written ANYTHING. You can call yourself a writer all you want, but unless you're writing, you're not a writer. So, for god's sake, write.

I just finished a new Harper's Cove and the second book in the Me, You, and Us series; the Harper's Cove is ready for publication, and Unforgettable You is in cover design. I've also finished the first Citadel series book, One Small Mistake, and it's in editing at this time. Now I'm working on the third Me, You, and Us novel, Incredible Us, and the second Citadel book, One Poor Choice.

I can't answer that because I'm ALWAYS inspired to write! If left alone and not given any extraneous stuff to do, I'd write ten hours a day and, for me, that would be a couple of books a week!

My most recent book is Planning an Addition, the fourth and last book in the Love Under Construction series. I got the idea as I was writing the first book; I love Peyton, and I wanted to see his beliefs and thinking stretched because he limited himself so much. I also had a couple of other characters who deserved to be happy, and I wanted that for them.
