You seem to write mostly Medieval and Historical books, ever get the chance to visit a castle and if so which one and what did you think of it? Do ever try the food from that culture and era?

Glynnis Campbell I've visited many castles--Stirling, Beaumaris, Edinburgh, Leeds, Holyrood, etc. I've seen four Campbell castles, including the ruins of Kilchurn and habitable places like Inveraray. I even stayed in Arundel and Roslyn. You can probably guess I love them! Though I've played around with recipes from medieval times, my greatest joy was interviewing the Tudor chef from Stirling Castle, who gave me a private tour of the kitchens!
