The best thing about being a romance writer, in particular, is that it permits me to focus on one of my favorite things in life--love! In my opinion, relationship success (with self and others) is key to happiness. Romance novels typically revolve around two people overcoming their wounds to find love. To craft realistic relationships on the pages, I spend a lot of time studying fascinating things like intimacy and the psychology of personalities. I'm not an expert yet, but being a romance writer allows me to have fun trying to become one, lol!
