The inspiration for The Man Who Can't Be Moved came directly from song with the same title. It's a song I love and I remember listening to it one day and wondering what would happen if someone did camp out on a corner to wait for their ex. The addition of a reporter covering the story seemed a natural progression and the rest of the story followed quickly after that.
