The Rainbow Goblins by Ul de Rico, mostly because you can see the one goblin's buttocks! Gnomes by Wil Huygen.
All of Beverly Cleary's books, and A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Then in the end of 5th grade, I fell hard for The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley, and pretty much just read straight fantasy for years, notable exception being Dune, which I read every year until college.
