My question is about Tuscany and northern Italy and what would you recommend for lodging if my Italian friend MaryAnn and I make it over there. I loved Under the Tuscan Sun. I applaud you for your courage to buy the villa. I will read more of your works Frances. This retired English/French teacher now has Time.
Can't say--the possibilities are too vast and I don't know your interests. Read 365 Days in Italy, a DK book. I think it's fun to say on farms--google agriturismo italy. But I also like historic hotels. You can find those on line too. Just depends on so many variables. Have fun.
