I feel as though you, like me, have had rabbits and dogs but no cats. Is this accurate? But mostly, thank you sincerely for the character of Amy. She resonates so hard with me. I saw the same whale documentary where the orcas don't even eat the calf that they kill, and I couldn't sleep after it. It was horrible. Anyway, I made my pastor read JDATE and she also fell in love with Amy.

Thanks! Yes we had one rabbit but never cats (my wife is allergic to the latter), our bunny was great but any time I say that I always follow up by pointing out that they are very difficult and fragile animals and we did months of research before getting one. They have very expensive diets and require a lot of clean-up etc. We were very happy with him but I always hate hearing that parents got one for their kid just spontaneously because you really do have to know what you're doing! I know you didn't ask that but I always seize my chance to put it out there

Hey Jason! I love the cover of the upcoming Zoey book (Zoey Is Too Drunk For This Dystopia, for anyone reading in the future). Do you have a person that designs all your covers, or is it different every time? And do you conceive the covers and have them done, or is it a different process? Thanks!

You've mentioned being into some youtube horror channels, but since Twitter is now a nightmare to navigate I can't find them. Is there any interesting work in indie horror you'd like to showcase? Authors too? P.S. Since you've mentioned not getting much fanmail about it, I just wanted to say that I loved If This Book Exists, second only to Spiders in my rankings of your novels.
