Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marilyn McFarlane I saw a great need for more understanding and tolerance in the world. I thought that if people knew more about others' spiritual beliefs and religious faiths, they would be more accepting. I thought this should ideally start in childhood, with the stories that underlie each religion. Interestingly, many adults have told me they want "Sacred Stories: Wisdom from World Religions" for themselves, as well as their children, because they have no knowledge of these stories.
