What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Marissa Lupe It seems simple or cliché, but just write, everyday. 1, 10, 100, or 1,000 words. Write something down everyday, even if it's crap, it's something that gets your brain in that writing mindset. If you want to do traditional or self publish, the advice stays the same. Through the query trenches, the submission process, through launch day, and every day in between, you'll always need that next story to pull you out the muck of life that always threatens to stick us all into one unmoving place.
