Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marissa Lupe STARS LIKE ACID, as with most of my story ideas, started as a dream. A strong independent female saving a man from a space station, and when she opened the hatch and saw his face for the first time, they had and instant soulmate connection.
If you have read STARS LIKE ACID, you'll know the plot has drastically changed from that initial idea. However the feel of that dream stayed without me throughout the writing of this story.
