My newest novel continues the theme of loving across socially creating boundaries within your own family, but is in a completely different setting. The main character is a mom in a Evangelical Christian family who is upset to see marriage licenses being given to gay and lesbian people in San Francisco county in 2004. Her Pastor encourages her to organize the church youth group, including her own children, in a witness for their church. She's excited and nervous, but agrees. The day after the protest, her son attempts suicide and then she learns he has same sex attractions. The story unfolds as she struggles to reconcile her love and respect for her son with her deep concern for his salvation.

Just finished listening to Yellow Crocus on Audible, your story blew me away!! My emotions were all over the place and I knew from early on this was a keeper. All I kept saying was, 'Wow!' I have Mustard Seed on my kindle for ages but had no idea it was a sequel. As soon as I realised it was I threw myself MSeed. I'm on chapter 1 and would like to know Will there be part 3?

I absolutely loved both the Yellow Crocus and Mustard Seed. I have already purchased your other two books to read next. I found myself getting confused with all the characters in Mustard Seed so I made a list of them and how they are related. I think that would be helpful to include in the book/Audible version. I read thru Audible so maybe this is already in the book? but just thought I'd suggest it. Keep Writing!
