Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kathrine Willson I've always been a fan of Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux. I'm also a huge 'Phan' of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical. It inspired me to write my own take. We never hear the Phantom's side of the story- all we ever hear is every other character's version. Erik (the Phantom) needed a chance to have his voice be heard. My version of Erik's character, my version of the story, may not be what the reader will expect, but I hope folks will give it a chance.
