The best thing about being a writer is that, as a writer, you have ALL of the control in your own little world which you've created. A word of caution, however, is that once you begin writing, it becomes an addiction. Also, no matter how you imagine the story playing out, it nearly never does. Your characters develop a life of their own and begin to dictate how their story will go. It's rather exciting and exhausting, but well worth it.
