Rose Rosetree:
Hi Rose, Thanks for taking time to answer questions! I used to meditate a lot because I thought it would help me grow, but found it's not working for me. Can your book Seeking Enlightenment in the Age of Awakening help me?
Rose Rosetree
Thanks for asking, JS. Of course, when you ask a question to an Enlightenment Teacher who is active now, in the Age of Awakening, you're not going to get a standard-type answer to that question.
In fact, before the Shift in the Age of Awakening, teaching meditation (specifically, Transcendental Meditation) was my primary passion in life. Teaching it, doing it. You get the idea.
For sure, had you asked me this question before the Shift on Dec. 21, 2012? My answer would have been to encourage you.
Maybe I'd also have tried to help you to problem solve. Back when teaching TM, I did a ton of that.
But now? For several good reasons, meditating is probably not a great idea. What do I recommend instead? Do 20 Daily Minutes of Technique Time, and choose from EXCELLENT techniques that work no, in the Age of Awakening.
Yes, "Seeking Enlightenment in the Age of Awakening" can help you understand a lot more about that recommendation, and why.
In addition, J.S., I have a few topics for you to google (or else search for, if you're on the rose-rosetree website). When googling, please put the search term in quotes, as I will below. Here goes:
1. "Avoiding Meditation Practices. Why?"
2. "Meditation Warning. Aura Reading Three Popular Techniques"
3. "Mindfulness Meditation. Recommended If You Hate Yourself"
