You may. Especially after Saturday morning when I caught my foot in the handle on my bath - not an easy thing to do. I've tried replicating this particular disaster and can't work out how on earth I managed it. I have a couple of massively bruised toes and a couple of impact injuries so if I'm up for immortality this is my wish list. A better sense of balance. A better weight to height ratio. Unlimited chocolate. Sausages - lots of sausages. Pockets. Wings. And a dragon. Yes - you have my permission.

Your books are an absolute delight. Thank you so much. I'm curious -- were you at all influenced by Connie Willis' "To Say Nothing of The Dog"? That was my favorite book before St Mary's came along. Also, I'm always amazed by the twists in your plots. Are the books mapped out or do you figure things out as you go along?

Jodi -- I've really enjoyed the St. Mary's Chronicles. In fact I'd pre-ordered "And the Rest is History", but I had to return it: the US Kindle edition was formatted with no indents to denote paragraphs. For me that made it un-readable. I've reported the problem to Amazon, and also sent an email to the publisher (info@accentpress.co.uk) but have heard nothing. I check for a fix every few days. Can you help? Thanks.
