Hi there! I'm so sorry to be answering this late -- I didn't realize an author has to be logged in to see questions. So... I get inspired by reading. Honestly, if I wasn't a huge reader, I don't think I'd be a writer. I read all sorts of books, and then I'll be walking along and think, "it could have gone this way..." and before I know it, I have a new plot in mind.
