Katy Crowley
Katy Crowley asked Davis Bunn:

I have just started reading your books late last year and loved them! I especially loved the characters int the stories. I felt like I was the characters and felt what they felt. Did you base the characters on people you know or just make them up?

Davis Bunn Dear Katy, Thanks so much for your note and your very sweet comment. All the characters are made up, but I do feel like the people and their chatter is a strong point. The term used by writers is, three dimensionality, where they reveal what is inside, who they are, as well as what they're responding to externally. The other term is, strong point of view, where everything the character 'sees' is filtered through their internal emotional state. Both of these are of course how people in the 'real' world move and think and talk and act.

Do I sound like a teacher or what?

Warmly, Davis
