To answer your question, yes indeed, I'm also writing as Thomas Locke. And btw, I have a new Locke title appearing later this year, co-authored with my gifted friend Jyoti Guptara. Watch this space!

Dear Davis Bunn, I just finished Tranquility Falls, and was really thrown off by your use of the world "pelt" for a dog's coat. It seems to me (and most definitions I've seen) that a pelt is only an animal's skin and fur, having been stripped off of the dead animal. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say dog's coat, or dog's fur, instead of "pelt?"
