There are various things I do. If I am stuck on one of my writing projects, I will go to another. If I go to another, I will work on world-building. When I get stuck on world-building, I will research things that have to do with the things I work on and take notes. The other thing I do is free write, and perhaps an idea will come to mind. At worse, I get up and do something that has nothing to do with the projects I'm working on.
