My most recent release is "Stoorworm's Sibling," which is the 2nd book in the Elements Pentalogy. Back in 2012, I went to a book signing with my first release, "Conspiracy of Deception." There were two other authors there. I didn't sell any books, and neither did one of the other authors. The author that sold books only sold his book, which was a children's picture book.
I thought that maybe if I wrote a children's book, I would do better at book signings. However, that is not what ended up happening. Instead, I got really involved in the story of two elves leaving their hometown and going on risky adventures to capture a witch who was accused of creating a curse for the elves' home village. Instead of a children's book, it is for children and adults who are thirteen and older.
The series was heavily influenced by Celtic Mythology which I found interesting, but it is set in an entirely different fantasy world.

I am working on a few projects. I have just recently completed "Stoorworm's Sibling," which is a sequel to "Curse of Kredaria," from the Elementals Pentology. Therefore, I am working on the third book in the series. The genre is considered to be Mythic Fantasy.
Then I'm working on a sequel to "A Crossing of Portals," which combines low fantasy, paranormal, and thriller. It will be the second book in the Between Worlds trilogy.
A while back, I started a series called "Prelude to Ragnorak," which combines elements of mythic fiction, science fiction, and suspense.
I have also been trying to squeeze in time for world-building, which can be tricky sometimes. The main continent in the world is called Zalonia. The continent is touched upon in the Elements Pentology and the Between Worlds series.

Well, I'm not a well-established writer yet, so perhaps I don't have the best advice. However, from what I have gained from reading books by well-known authors is to read a lot, especially in the genre you want to write, and make writing a daily practice. If you're self-published, you're going to want an editor, a book cover designer, and to do some research marketing. It is also important to read books or find teachers that teach writing techniques.

There are various things I do. If I am stuck on one of my writing projects, I will go to another. If I go to another, I will work on world-building. When I get stuck on world-building, I will research things that have to do with the things I work on and take notes. The other thing I do is free write, and perhaps an idea will come to mind. At worse, I get up and do something that has nothing to do with the projects I'm working on.

Well, as much as I love fantasy, I would be hesitant to travel to a typical fantasy world. While there is usually very beautiful scenery, I like my electrons. However, if I were forced to choose, it would be Middle Earth after the books take place. I'm currently reading the "Wheel of Time" series, and I just realized that I don't know the name of the world. Apparently, some people call it Randland, but I don't recall seeing that in the books. It doesn't sound like too bad of a world, but I would be tempted to use the One Power and end up going insane. Then there is Kyrnn which seems all around too dangerous to live in.

I'm hoping to continue my journey through the "Wheel of Time" series. I'm currently reading "Lords of Chaos," which is also Book 6. There are plenty of nonfiction books that I will be reading too, but I find those when the interest arises, so I'm not sure exactly what nonfiction books I will be reading.

(view spoiler)[Perhaps my spiritual journey might interest some. I have experienced various different paths and it has always been a mystery to me what the truth is, or even if there is a truth. It might be a little boring to write about, though. If I think of something better, I will change my answer. (hide spoiler)]
