The idea for Sons of Adamah originiated in my own ambivalence about what it means for me to be a woman. Ambivilence is an age-old issue that was modified by societal norms (some of those norms helpful, others not so much). Watching ALL those norms disintegrate for my children and grandchildren motivated me to put pen to paper.
