Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.R. Rowe The inspiration to my current project came from a photo I found on a stock website. I wanted to get my creative juices flowing and found a picture of an open umbrella discarded on wet cobblestones. I wondered why it was there and what might have happened before the photo was taken. A flash fiction story emerged but this smaller piece wasn't quite enough. It has since inspired a full blown novel.
