Jeff, I am heartbroken and angry and am finding myself almost more upset about the life and death of Rob Peace than any other person i have read about. Your ability to flesh out this man's character is amazing. What an eye-opening read it has been for me. is it wrong to write this without a ???. Something that dances around the edges of your book is the challenge of finding a secure job, as hard for the Yale graduates as for Robert's friends from Newark. Do you think coming of age this era--recession, lack of jobs--contributed an additional heavy burden for Robert? Or does the story feel timeless?

What did you want to gain from making this book? (respectfully). Because I feel and this is an opinion but I feel like a black person should be telling this story of Robert. like you gave us insight but you didn't inform us on who Robert really is.
