As a kid, I adored the Cassandra Klein series and wondered if they might ever be released in eBook format? as finding physical copies is nearly impossible.

Hi Kaitlyn, That is lovely to know! Gosh, I wrote them so long ago. And yes, they’ve been out of print a long, long time. There are no current plans to publish them as e-books, but never say never. Thanks for asking. Karen x

Karen, just want to congratulate you on The Chocolate Maker's Wife - I'm an avid reader and have to say this is one of my all-time favourite books. Would make such a good movie! Definitely going to investigate some of your other period novels - this one won't get a sequel by any chance?

Hi Karen, I became a forever fan after reading The Brewer's Tale. My next read was The Locksmith's Daughter (so many twists and turns) and I just finished The Good Wife of Bath (for certes, amazing.) Next on the list will be The Darkest Shore (love anything set in Scotland) then The Chocolate Maker's Wife. My question to you is there any one author that has been an inspiration to you?

Just reading the Author's Notes is fascinating. I loved the Brewer's Tale so I searched the stacks at our library and found The Chocolate Maker's Wife. I'm so excited to start reading this story, especially since I love everything about chocolate, especially eating it. It's absolutely amazing the amount of research you do: do you ever start a project and come to a dead end? Or, just don't get inspired? Thank you
