Kristin Hannah I have always felt that Kate from Firefly Lane was the character I related to the most. She is a combination of me and my mother, and I loved the message that being a stay at home mom has immense value but is often a difficult road.

Still waiting for your new book to come out!!! :) what was the first book you read that made you think "wow that was amazing"? I have always read a little but of this and a little bit of that. Mostly corny teen books, but then I picked up firefly lane and you got me hooked. I put down that book and thought to myself "wow". I would like to thank you for opening my eyes to something new.
