Having someone tell you that they've read YOUR book, YOUR words, YOUR story that you made up one day while your kids played in the backyard or you were doing dishes, and then started writing it while they napped one day? And kept on writing it while they slept 'til 4 a.m. every night because it was so fun, but you never thought it would actually go anywhere?

Day. Made.

My readers are the best readers there are, and I'm not just saying that.
