Mark Lawrence:
Where Taproot shows up at different points in previous trilogies that connects the different storylines. The library mentioned could connect different storylines in your newly built world as a Taproot. Just me trying to guess along with your writing where you'll have something that connects the storylines. Is the library is an intersection for a multiverse?

I have to admit that I haven't heard about you before I started reading Prince of Thorns and by the end of first chapter you were my favorite author. But Emperor of Thorns killed me and I have to say that there was a brief period of time where I hated you, but than I realized that you are an amazing author all the same, no matter how you decided to finish the book. That said I have to ask why? Why end it like that?

Do your characters have their own voices as you write them? I'm asking this because Jorg is one of the most complete characters that I've ever met, and I can only imagine the process behind creating him(or perhaps, letting him speak). Have you ever assumed some of his(Jorg's) emotions, characteristics or thoughts while writing?

Hi Mark, Just wondered if you & your daughter have read the Changeling series by James Fahy? S'pose this isn't really a question, more of a recommendation - my dad used to read books with me constantly when I was a kid, and when I came across the series recently it felt like something we would have loved to read together. Thought you two might enjoy it! :)
