If Miles were ever put to screen would you prefer it done as live action or anime?

Either or both would be fine -- one does not preclude the other if one's media contracts are written right. Though I would especially like to see Falling Free as an animation. And I always thought The Spirit Ring would be great done by some spiritual heir of Ray Harryhausen, for its climax sequence. Either could be feature-length -- Miles would really need to be a series or mini-series, whether live or animated.
Media adaptations are a buyers' market, though, so it's not up to me. Somebody with a hundred million dollars would have to decide it would not lose money for them, and such persons are very rare. (Possibly a lower budget and bar for animation, but still the same problem.)

If two malices meet, they will fight until one completely “consumes” the other. What about unhatched malices? Will it get drained by a mobile malice that encounters it? Or get passively drained if it’s in an area getting blighted? Or are they not really alive until they hatch and start consuming ground? Wondering if the Great Blight would be considered cleared once it recovers however many thousands of years later.

Thanks for the answer, and so quick! Unfortunately, I'm still confused -- is the Peninsula to the east or the west of the map in Orphans? As I look at the island chain, it looks as if it should be to the west, but as I read the book and look at the maps on the site, I feel as if it is to the east. Again, thanks. I just like to be oriented!

Remember those old razor commercials - "I liked it so much, I bought the company?" I love the Vorkosigan books so much I named my son Miles. He's 11 now and eagerly awaiting the date when he's old enough to read them. Do I need a question? That's a question, right? Anyway, thank you, for writing these wonderful books. Cordelia has been a maternal role model for me.
