D.R. Wells The best thing about being a writer is that you can get away with saying things that would be inappropriate in any other setting. How many people can say, "I get paid to sit around and make stuff up," and not get a sideways glance? You can express yourself creatively and make a living at it (well, I'm not actually doing it yet, but it's coming)! It's pretty cool. In addition, you can travel the world and experience different cultures if you write about them. Last, you get to tell stories - how awesome is that?
