Currently, I'm working on the outline for a sequel to "Walking Out of Time." It's tentatively called "Walking With Time," and it continues the heroines' story.

My way of getting inspiration is to take a step back, find some space, and look for elements around me to translate into words. It doesn't matter if I'm at the beach or in my living room, there's always something to find.
Also, I'm not afraid to look for inspiration in existing works of literature, film, or art.
To answer an earlier question, I revealed that Walking Out of Time is based on a dream I had. The key is to keep your mind open and let your creativity flow.

If you're an aspiring writer, let me give you some friendly advice: don't take yourself too seriously. Sure, writing is important work and you should take it seriously, but you don't have to let it become your whole life. Writing can be an enjoyable escape, so don't put too much pressure on yourself to be perfect. Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things; it's how you'll find your own unique voice and style. And, finally, don't forget to have fun! Writing can be a great way to express yourself, so don't be afraid to channel your creativity and let the words flow. After all, that's why we write in the first place!

The best thing about being a writer is that you can get away with saying things that would be inappropriate in any other setting. How many people can say, "I get paid to sit around and make stuff up," and not get a sideways glance? You can express yourself creatively and make a living at it (well, I'm not actually doing it yet, but it's coming)! It's pretty cool. In addition, you can travel the world and experience different cultures if you write about them. Last, you get to tell stories - how awesome is that?

When I'm stuck, I take a break. Almost always, a momentary respite helps me get back on track. Maybe I will talk to a friend, take a walk, or listen to music. I found that coming up with new ideas is easier when not in front of the computer. Also, I try to remember that writing is a marathon, not a sprint, so if you're stuck, take your time. You'll eventually get it right.

My dream would be to travel the world in Emily Noon's "Aurora's Angel." It would be nice to meet Aurora, but I'd actually love to meet Evie!

The sound of footsteps in the darkness followed her wherever she went. No matter how hard she ran, or where she hid, it was always just a few steps behind her.

"Walking Out of Time" is based on a recurring dream I had for many years. There was always a deep feeling of melancholy when I woke up. As I thought about it over time, it became evident that there was a story.
