How do you deal with writer’s block?

Sean Robert Lang Thankfully, I don't find myself blocked very often. If I do, it's rarely because I can't think of anything, but rather I'm entertaining too many options. To get past it, I might sleep on it, or run some errands. Sometimes it takes writing and rewriting a scene, or even writing multiple scenes then picking the one that best moves the story forward. If all that fails, then a glass or two of wine usually gets things moving right along.
