How do you deal with writer’s block?

R.E. Lewin If I get blocked, then I have gone off track and something is not working. Sometimes I will dump an entire section and start again. I see these blocks as a wrong turn in the story. How I deal with it is by asking the dogs. I am an animal communicator, like Tammy in the series. I think my dogs have probably contributed to my story more than I! We go on long walks and decide how to handle this block together. I get great ideas that I am sure they put into my head sometimes. Or perhaps they just unblock me by being with me in nature. Either way, I always say the dogs fix it for me.
