Alisunflowerr Just finished the book. I definitely think Aggie wasn’t a real person. It seemed to me that Inti had split personality disorder.. but then that would mean that she was the one who gutted Duncan and his dog, and it’s really far fetched to believe Duncan would not only forgive Inti, but also be fine with her raising his daughter….
Jude Morris I think the author teases us with this possibility to make us question Inti's sanity and reliability as a narrator.
Corie I wondered if Aggie was real or imagined part way thru the book. Inti herself mentions having the same thought.
Lydia Trom no, I never thought she was dead.
