What age group is this book targeted to? Would it be appropriate for a middle grade reader? Thanks!

eve.lyn._.reads I mostly read middle grade. I believe this is fine for kids in middle school. The romance doesn't go over brief kisses that aren't explained, and the …moreI mostly read middle grade. I believe this is fine for kids in middle school. The romance doesn't go over brief kisses that aren't explained, and the violence isn't super graphic but there is a scene where someone is stabbed, another person cuts off their finger. There is not any swearing that I remember. It is in the Adult category because of the eloquent writing and adult characters. There are scenes of drinking and talk of marriage, but again, I believe a middle grade reader can read this. (less)
