Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Colum Ferry I got the idea for The Blackstone Legacy mostly from the surrounding geography of my town.

There is a ringfort atop a hill nearby, and I always felt it would be a good setting for a camp/battle. Also, in the centre of my town, there are a few old buildings that made perfect sense to be involved in some typical fantasy settings.

I changed the names of these places within the book, but it was from this that the idea was generated.
