This is listed as Aaron Falk #3. Does one have to read the first two before this one?

In relation to this book, The Dry is a background to w…moreI read The Dry a couple years ago, and only vaguely remembered the links between Falk and Raco. In relation to this book, The Dry is a background to why they're close, and how they met (Falks hometown being Racos worktown). This book takes place in Racos hometown. Reading as a standalone would be grand tbh. I can give spoilers / synopsis but I'd recommend reading book 1 The Dry as it's a solid book! The 2nd in the series (Force of Nature) doesn't really have any ties to Raco, so if you wanted you could skip it. (less)
