I read this book to our 8-year-old son upon recommendation from our 10-year-old daughter whose teacher read it to them aloud. I MISS reading about Melody now that this book is over. What do you read NEXT after reading a book this good?

Another one that this book reminded me of (strictly because of the Whiz Kids Bowl) is "The View from Saturday." This one was harder for my students to get into, but I loved it. (less)
