Goodreads asked Kim Megahee:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kim Megahee Write every day, even if it's only for a few minutes. If you don't, your first few (or maybe many) writing minutes are spent getting back in the writing zone. If you write every day, you stay in the zone. Sometimes, your daily writing will be writing out ideas about the book or creating character background, or just thinking about dialogue (pithy things to say). Or maybe you spend some time on location, looking at the "lay of the land". Do you see where I'm going with this? You just want to visit the book in some form or fashion every day.
