Oh, that’s a great question! Years ago when I was a computer engineer, our company got hacked. We formed a team to handle the PR and track the bad guys. It took weeks to do, but we finally identified and prosecuted the hackers. It was a real cat-and-mouse chase! Loosely based on that event, I have a plot designed about a similar event centered around a fictitious bank and a Lake Lanier home. I plan to write it after the Marc McKnight Adventure series is completed.
Thanks for the question.

Oh, that’s a hard question! I’m a big fan of “Somewhere in Time” with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. But I think my all-time favorite is “12 Monkeys” with Bruce Willis and Madeleine Stowe. I like that he begins to doubt himself because everyone thinks he’s crazy. I can imagine how that could happen with no evidence to the contrary except your memories.
Thanks for the question.

I’ll check into Mindcrimes. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the tip.
Time after Time is a great flick, too. When I saw it, I had just seen Clockwork Or I’ll check into Mindcrimes. Sounds interesting. Thanks for the tip.
Time after Time is a great flick, too. When I saw it, I had just seen Clockwork Orange and it was a great contrast of roles for McDowell. And David Warner is always a great villain. And it was my first time to see Mary Steenbergen.

Yes, Ma'am. I'm a bassist. I started when I was about 15. My mom drove me and my equipment to rehearsals.
Today, I play with a pretty good quartet called "The Atlanta SoundKeepers", or TASK for short. All of us sing, so our forte is vocal harmony. You can find us and hear a music sample at TheAtlantaSoundKeepers.com. There's also a copy of our song list there.
Thanks for the question. I'd love to hear what you think of the band's sound.
Cheers,
K

Very easy.
I worked on a book for three years. Nobody read it.
That's my nightmare. :-)

I'd love to go to Tolkien's Middle Earth and open a small book shop in Minas Tirith.

I'm reading some of Craig Martelle's space opera books. I also want to get through "Of Mice and Men".

Book 2 of the Time Enough series is about bad guys who try to influence the US Presidential election by manipulating the past. I got the idea during the 2014 mid-term elections.

It can be hard at first. Develop the habit of writing every day. It's like exercise - once you get the habit, you feel weird if you don't do it.
I heard one author say that, when he doesn't feel like writing, he just sits down and starts writing on paper - a grocery list, a diagram, whatever. The point is to get thoughts flowing. A very small adjustment to that gets you writing on your book. Good luck!

I think the best thing is a chance to build characters that I can fall in love with - heroes and heroines.

I think the best thing is getting a review from someone who likes one of my books, and I don't even know who they are.
My first thought is, "Did my wi I think the best thing is getting a review from someone who likes one of my books, and I don't even know who they are.
My first thought is, "Did my wife write this under an assumed name?" LOL.
I feel the same way about the music I perform with The Atlanta SoundKeepers... When someone comes up and tells us how much they enjoyed listening to us.
It's a great feeling to know that you gave someone some happiness. There's so much pain and ugliness in the world today, so it's nice to blunt some of the sting.

Currently trying to get book 2 of the Time Enough Series with an agent. I'm talking to a few right now - still trying to find the right one.
I'm also working on Book 3 of the Time Enough Series fleshed out.
I'm also working on a murder mystery that involves computer crime. More later.

Write every day, even if it's only for a few minutes. If you don't, your first few (or maybe many) writing minutes are spent getting back in the writing zone. If you write every day, you stay in the zone. Sometimes, your daily writing will be writing out ideas about the book or creating character background, or just thinking about dialogue (pithy things to say). Or maybe you spend some time on location, looking at the "lay of the land". Do you see where I'm going with this? You just want to visit the book in some form or fashion every day.

I approach it several ways. Sometimes, I just go on to another project until an idea hits me. Other times, if I'm really motivated to get it done, I'll just address one little piece of what I'm missing. Let me explain. I envision a book as a movie I'd like to see and just describe the movie in my head. Sometimes I get a block, but I can still write about a scene I can see. Then I have to stitch it together, and sometimes change it completely. But it DOES get me started again.
