Hi. uncle Rick, How are you? I've been a big fan of your books since I picked up The Son of Neptune. I recently started trying to get into writing mainly short stories and as I've been writing the hardest thing for me is the dialogue, one of my favorite things about every one of your series is that your dialogue is funny and natural, not weird at all, so I guess I'm asking is how do you write dialogue that is natural.

I'm glad the dialogue works for you! I find it is really helpful to read the conversations aloud after I've written them. That helps me figure out where they sound natural and where I stumble over lines. Good luck!
