Thank you so much for reading my books! I decided to write in the YA contemp genre because I want to write books that I needed when I was 16 years old. At the time, I was facing a lot of issues and I didn't feel very hopeful. I want to show readers that no matter the circumstances, there is always hope.

As for why I decided to write Take Me On, when I met West in Crash Into You, I knew he had a story to tell. He loves his sister Rachel so much, but there is a ton of hurt inside of him. I wanted to explore that hurt and find out what made him tick.

Are your books published in the order that you created them? And while writing one of your books, did you ever find yourself getting sidetracked and working on a book that's set to come out in the future or were you able to sit down and completely focus on the storyline you were working on?
