How do you deal with writer’s block?

M.T. DeSantis Heh, as it turns out, I recently figured this very thing out (at least, I discovered one thing that helped). I’m currently writing the story of how Bianca, Cindell, Orianna, and Zelandra (my four main ladies) met, and I was very, very, oh gods, so very stuck trying to figure out a scene where Cindell confronts something from her past. Every afternoon, I take a break from work to get in some exercise, and I tried talking it out while I walked (don’t worry, there weren’t a ton of people around to wonder why I was talking to myself). Anyway, hearing the problem out loud made something click, and boom, I had an answer and proceeded to plow through the problem scene. Now, the story’s almost done.
