As it happens, my next book (Stella's story), runs parallel in time to The Reluctant Countess, and Lord Pettigrew, now married to Lydia, is part of Not that Duke. I know everyone wanted Lydia to get her comeuppance but that couldn't happen until the next novel as she plays a role here too.

Hi Eloisa! I just finished Wilde Child and I loved it. The characters were amazing. But I was wondering about something, Horatius is mentioned in every book. He is present in all those stories. Is there a chance (and I know i am reaching here) that he is the man that is traveling with the theater? Could Caballero actually be Horatius? Or am I just crazy 😜? Regardless I love your books, so thank you!

I lived in Paris at the same age as your Anna and was put in Marymount not knowing a word of French, was soon fluent and enjoyed four years growing up in Maisons Laffitte.
