As a writer, something I appreciate is the challenge of it. Lately I have been crafting pieces of vastly different lengths. What is needed for a 200-word piece is far different from 1000-word piece or a 50,000-word piece. Having opportunities to craft writings of different lengths is always a helpful way to stay fresh in the craft.
